New technologies open new forms of communication, collaboration, and dissemination of knowledge.
In the early days of the internet, I mean the very early days, one of my doc students came to me and said, ‘Hey, Phil, we should put this on the internet and have a website.' And this was when websites were not common. And I said, if it doesn't take too much time, go ahead, have fun . And it turned out to be one of the most important things we did, of course.
Now it's impossible to think of the work that we do. Without leveraging these new emerging technologies that are not so emerging.
